Comments:Dear FTC: It was with interest that many of us here in Maine heard about the closing/selling of Wild Oats on Marginal Way in Portland. (I did not know until I read it at your site that Wild Oats had been bought by Whole Foods.) I have heard locally that there is a possibility that a Trader Joe's store may be moving into that former Wild Oats location on Marginal Way. I hope very much that this happens as it will not only provide fair competition for Whole Foods, but will please many who have been driving to the closest Trader Joe's in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts to shop. I very much want a Trader Joe's in Maine. Please do all you can for us to help Trader Joe's open a store in Portland. Thanks for your help.
